Unhinged Dream Journals

 Ever since I started recording my dreams, its like I've entered a stage where I can read an endless number of stories and scenarios that would've never been dream's of. Like I'm talking Shakespearian levels of work and plot lines. Only thing that stops me from sharing them is that they involve real people in my life whether they're my closest associates or just people that I've "looked up" on Instagram.  Sometimes, the narratives are flattering, casting these individuals as heroes, while at other times, the dreams twist into darker, more complex tales that might not paint such a picture. It's a strange dichotomy, feeling like an "author" who writes anonymous sagas about familiar faces. Even though these dream-stories are born from the depths of my subconscious, I wonder about the ethics of sharing them. How much of our private mental wanderings belong in the public eye especially when they involve unwitting characters who never consented...
